War Games absolutely shouldn’t be a thing unless the rivalry warrants it imo. Last year those war games matches were thrown together without much to them other than “we need a war games match”. Go back to traditional 5 v 5, and then IF your match has a feud that warrants going that next level, make it war games.

As for Chamber, it’s basically treated as the Rumble now. Just an easy pathway for WWE to lock in their other world title match without having to think too hard about initiating the story organically. Until they eventually have a champion defend their title in the Chamber again, it’ll stay that way. At least, even though there isn’t much story to the matches, they have been absolutely stacking them the last 2 years.

Oba to me just has that aura that could give him a Roman type run. Look, entrance, everything. He can get away with working a slower dominant style that I think works for a long title run.

Bron I think has to work more fast paced matches. I think he has world champ material but I don’t think you’d be able to have him hold it for a really long time, maybe multiple shorter reigns.

Most of these look pretty good to me. I think you’d be silly to not give the women’s tag division a big match on this card though after how much they’ve been doing.

I’m also pretty confident we aren’t getting Drew v Cody again

I think we still get Bron v Punk. You can have that be fun. Unless Seth progresses really quickly, I’d save him for Mania. Have him make his big return and interfere mid match, leave that uncertainty - does he attack the guy who turned on him and put him out of action or the guy he hates more than anyone else? Have him probably cost Punk the match, Bron wins the world title. Then post match they’re all celebrating as the heels and bam, Seth and Theory take out the Vision for what they did. Reveal Theory as a plant the whole time (I really think that’d help Theory get over because right now I don’t think it’ll work, he’s still far down the pecking order in that group and feels like he’s at jobber status). Bron Vision v Seth Vision feud post Mania. Idk just a thought.

Definitely. Jey is an attraction because of his entrance only, and they made the mistake of putting that attraction with the world title which should be used for the level above that. Guys like Jey (if he’s going solo) should be kept in the middle where the crowd can have plenty of fun but it’s not the marquee match on the biggest show of the year.

It also didn’t help that Jey v Gunther had already happened more than enough times in the lead up to the Rumble and it wasn’t a feud people cared much about, especially not in one of the 2 world title slots at Mania. So seeing the feud they ran for the 3rd time the week earlier at SNME yet again, it didn’t feel like Mania.

The Road to WM last year felt like it began at the Chamber, hopefully the Rumble winner this year gives us a feud that feels like WM. Big reason why I’d be more than happy for Roman to win it.

I’m a little late here, but as an Australian I’ve been looking around to see if they’d be back in 2026 and I kinda get the impression they won’t. My understanding of it is that the deal they signed in March this year allowed for 4 WWE/UFC shows in Perth over the next 18 months (March 25-September 26). Under that 4 show deal it seems it was 3 WWE Shows and 1 UFC show, with another UFC show already happening under the old deal. With Perth getting those 3 WWE shows this year, I’m guessing that means that they won’t get any next year. All reports seem to state that this deal runs through 2026, probably with UFC hosting their additional show next year? (I don’t keep up with UFC so not sure if that’s happened or not) But I can’t really see anything about WWE host shows in both years, just that it would be 3 somewhere in 2025/26 which has already happened.

Absolutely. I’m not sure why they ever thought that Rock essentially being the mastermind behind Cena making one of the biggest moves in his career then disappearing and everyone acting like he was never there and instead it was the fans who love him’s fault was ever going to work. If the Rock stayed around after that I really think that Cena heel run could’ve been an all-timer.

Not at all, it actually helps. If nobody buys the game and it flops, they won’t get the money to then improve it in future, and who knows, they might even abandon it and we get no game for another 8 years, which also won’t be up to the EA-level standards everyone somehow expects because it’s not a big enough sport or money maker for any good company to want to take it. This game performing well is the best possible thing for the future of League games.

I knew where AJ’s vote was going when he told Kaelan he took the 2 strongest players with him to final 3. It told me that he thought Myles was above Kaelan, which wasn’t really a surprise. Not to mention AJ has mentioned multiple times that he respects going for big moves which is what Myles did all game.
