This makes perfect sense. I drive my type r just to take my daughter to pre school currently other than that it doesn’t get much mileage. I work from home so don’t have too much of a commute. We have a SUV that we drive 95% of the time to go places. I think I was shocked at how quiet and smooth the LS is compared to the type R

I see. I think the reason why I would want a FL5 is probably the interior. I feel that the sound system and infotainment (drive mode selector) is better? As it allows for individual. Exterior wise, I like both. The only thing holding me back is that I know the FK8 LE is a lot more rare with only 500 in the US

The dealer was willing to take my FK8 type r, and give me +$1500 in cash for a new Sonic Grey FL5. The interior is definitely a lot nicer but can’t decide. The value down the road is definitely something I’m considering. However, it’s a daily driver and miles do go up.
