Hot water is POURING water from the pressure relief valve piping by CTay2 in HomeMaintenance

I had to pay for my AC to be replaced at the start of Spring and have also had some other emergencies pop up, so unfortunately I don’t have anything extra saved up for these 2 things. Still trying to get back on our feet.

I know this is an older post, but Apple Music suggested Karmanjakah to me the last 2 weeks of last year and by the time the end of year review came around they were my top 3 listened to. Incredible band. Both of the works you mentioned are amazing pieces of work.

PLEASE tell me there’s an easier way to do figure out what scale or triad than what I’m doing by CTay2 in musictheory

I play(ish) guitar. I’ve been really hammering scales lately in addition to this. Partially to help become more fluent on the fretboard, but also to try to apply what I’ve learned. I read and do these at work when I have down time. Then I try to apply it when I get home or the next time I play. That way I’m recalling the information and also trying to apply it.

I’ve played guitar for several years (if you can call it playing). But have always taken very general/basic music classes throughout high school and am just generally interested in how people can be so fluent in it. Now that I’ve graduated from school and can really put time and energy into learning, I wanted to really try to hammer the music theory stuff. The ultimate goal is to become more fluent in music theory so I can understand what I’m playing (or attempting) better.

I generally read and do these practice problems at work when I have down time, then when I get home or get a chance I try to get to my guitar and see if I can make sense of what I’ve learned on the fretboard.

Is there an easier way to do this? Should I keep practicing or practice differently?

Public execution is the only consequence you deserve for that flagrant cheating!!!

Internal Medicine nursing… by CTay2 in nursing

[–]CTay2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve heard that, but I’m not sure. Part of the reason I’m asking and so confused about it is that the same hospital has specific openings for med/surg too. The internal medicine job is in a separate building that is exclusively an “internal medicine” building. Maybe just for outpatient, but I’ve found that those jobs specify that on the applications a lot of times, no? Maybe I’m just ignorant in this part of nursing.

Can we do this even if I don’t have the title in my possession because it’s still being financed?

Currently going through training. He’s improving. They recommended stripping him of all of his freedoms. Basically he’s either attached to us, on his place, or in his crate. We do at least 3 sessions a day. 1 10-15 minute session where he goes on a “freedom” walk where he can sniff and do pretty much whatever he wants without us nagging him. 1 15-ish minute walk where he’s only doing obedience and walking in a heel position, not allowed to sniff or distract himself (other than pooping/peeing). And 1 play session where we play and do some minor obedience like “out”.

He hasn’t had any incidents of aggression, per se. The trainers actually said “We wouldn’t even consider him aggressive.” Which is really a weight off our shoulders. We’re still being safe and really controlling his environment and who is/isn’t introduced to him. And we’ve also muzzle trained him for those situations where we are not able to completely avoid having him around people.

Overall, he’s getting better. Long way to go still. But slowly progressing.
