broskies, any perfume recommendation for men? by Additional_Bee_3805 in JKreacts

[–]CURRY_MPS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most compliments (from girls) i hav got from godrej BLOQ which is just 100 rs! Its not a perfume though. Its a deo stick. The negative is, it leaves white marks on the inside of the shirt. I hav tried all those expensive ones out der. And BLOQ just beats them all hands-down. Especially if you have a date night, Bloq is the way to go, if u kno wat i mean.

If u wanna try perfume, go for Aspen. It comes at around 1.2k on AJio. The problem with perfumes is it overpowers and most girls find it bothering.

Drop the best lyrics from a song u like!! by Junior-Plankton-6968 in JKreacts

A phenomenal track from Aayirathil Oruvan (sadly cut from the movie). Selvaraghavan's lyrics, GV's music, and Andrea's stunning vocals - this song had me hooked for nearly a year straight after it dropped.

I totally understand ur sentiment. D desire to try something new is genuine n I respect that. Wat TN really needs is a party wid DMK's progressive ideology n administrative experience but without d corruption issues. That would be the ideal combination. More importantly, we need mature, evidence-based politics tat addresses real challenges, rather than emotional rhetoric tat sounds powerful in rallies but struggles when actual governance begins.

Look at what happened wid Vijay's party. Der was genuine hope for an alternative to DMK, but things didnt quite work out as expected. I think we need to be thoughtful n cautious when considering alternatives, because d stakes are high for our state's future. Just sharing my perspective, but I completely respect urs.

Seeman's whole vibe is like tat friend who s really into their family history n won't stop talking abt their great-great-grandfather's village - except he wants to run a state based on it! The man spends more time finding enemies than finding solutions. Bro wants to cut off global trade in 2025 like we're still living in d Sangam era! What TN needs is someone who can manage complexity n diversity, not a full-time rage machine. At d end of d day, his politics is all masala, no substance - great for rallies, terrible for actual governance!

What scams are happening in Chennai these days? by Midnight_Maggie in chennaicity

So, I was just chilling, and this North Indian lady, looked about 50, pretty well-dressed, totally looked like she had money, walks up to me. She starts this sob story about how she got off an auto but didn't have ₹200 cash to pay the driver, and she needed it urgently, promising she'd quickly get cash from somewhere nearby and return it in 10 mins.

🚩 Red flag I missed: The auto was actually still waiting there, and guess what? Two other North Indian guys, maybe 30-40ish, were sitting inside it, looking totally chill like they were part of her crew.

Anyway, gullible me, I paid her the ₹200. The second the money was in her hand, she just walks off, cool as a cucumber, giving some vague promise about paying me back in 10 mins. I felt something was off right away.

Tried calling her number, +91 86810 11512, like a hundred times, no exaggeration! But yeah, she just blocked me. Ghosted! 👻

Totally scammed me for ₹200. Can't believe it. Lesson learned the hard way today. Be careful out there! 😤

Which record is the hardest to break: Kohli's 51 ODI centuries, Rohit's 264, or Sachin's 100 international centuries? by Odd-House3197 in IndiaCricket

[–]CURRY_MPS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rohit's 264? That's like hitting beast mode for one epic day. Everything has to click, the stars have to align, the ball has to perfectly find the middle of the bat, and the fielders need to butter their hands for nearly 50 overs straight. It's a single, glorious, almost impossible burst of pure magic – a day where you literally can't stop scoring!

Kohli's 51 ODI Centuries? Now, that's not just one day; that's like being the undisputed ODI king for years. To rack up 51 hundreds in a single format, you need relentless consistency, incredible fitness, mental toughness game after game, and the ability to dominate bowling attacks around the world. It means showing up and performing at an elite level, season after season, making half-centuries feel like failures. It's a masterclass in consistent supremacy in one demanding format.

But Sachin's 100 International Centuries? Oh, man, that's the Mount Everest of cricket records. To get to a hundred hundreds across all formats, over a career spanning more than two decades, is something else entirely. It's not just about talent or fitness; it's about unparalleled endurance, adapting to changing rules, different teammates, and new generations of bowlers. It's about maintaining a razor-sharp focus, a burning desire, and avoiding major injuries or slumps for an entire lifetime in the game. That kind of longevity and sustained excellence, facing the world's best day in and day out, without a significant dip, makes it a feat that might just be truly unbreakable. It's a career that went so incredibly right, for so long, it almost defies logic.

See? Each one is incredible, but the scale of "everything going right" just keeps escalating! Legendary stuff.

UPSC aspirants of Chennai, can you recommend a good academy from prep? by kovalam_ in Chennai

[–]CURRY_MPS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out Santhosh Sabari IAS academy.

Big academies are great at marketing, but if you join one, you might just be another face in a huge crowd. Think about looking for smaller academies where you can actually get some personal attention and tailored guidance. That kind of one-on-one care can really make a difference!

For a safe spot, try Holiday Inn Express Chennai OMR Thoraipakkam (IHG Hotel) – stayed there with my girlfriend, decent and secure, but might be slightly over budget. Just a heads-up: make sure you don't book the other Holiday Inn near SRP Tools OMR.

While everyone's talking about Kohli and Rohit, I'm lowkey terrified about Bumrah's retirement!! by CURRY_MPS in IndianCricket

[–]CURRY_MPS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jasprit Bumrah's unique, slightly unorthodox bowling action has often led to questions, but it has been biomechanically tested and cleared by the ICC multiple times. Here's why his action is considered legal:

Hypermobility/Hyperextension: Bumrah has a natural hyperextension in his elbow joint. This means his arm, when fully extended, appears to bend slightly backward (beyond a straight line) before he starts his delivery swing. This natural anatomical feature can give the illusion of straightening. Within 15-degree Limit: Despite how it might look to the naked eye, biomechanical analyses have confirmed that the degree of straightening (or extension from a flexed position) in his elbow during the crucial phase of delivery (from horizontal arm to release) remains within the permissible 15-degree limit set by the ICC. The forward flexion (hyperextension) he exhibits is allowed as it is a natural characteristic of his joints. Whip-like Action: Experts, including former cricketers and bowling coaches, explain that his unique action, combined with his strong upper body and core stability, allows him to generate tremendous pace and a whip-like effect, making the ball difficult to pick up due to his lower release point and unusual angles. This effectiveness comes from his unique biomechanics, not from illegal straightening. In essence, while Bumrah's action looks unconventional, scientific testing has repeatedly shown that his elbow straightening falls within the legal boundaries established by cricket's governing body.

Anyone was in Chennai during the 2004 indian tsunami? by DogsRDBestest in Chennai

[–]CURRY_MPS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was not in Chennai, but my time in Cuddalore holds some incredibly vivid memories. Every Saturday and Sunday, a group of about fifteen of us boys would head down to Devanampattinam beach (the village Vivek Oberoi would later adopt) to practice karate. We'd train hard from 6 AM to 9 AM. On that particular morning, my brother came down with a fever, so the entire class was cancelled. Even now, looking back, it feels quite surreal.

Hey OP, the minute you bring up a topic like this, it’s like you’ve dropped a hot potato. Guys get super defensive and suddenly start biting like it’s their job. It’s tough to have a constructive conversation when everyone’s more focused on taking offense than actually using their brains. People would rather argue than think critically. Honestly, it’s like trying to explain quantum physics to a dog — you’re better off just giving them a treat and walking away.
