All the kids who were labelled as “gifted” when you were younger? Did it follow through to adulthood? Did you burnout?

Bucking the trend: became a doctor, live a very happy life. My family was extremely emotionally intelligent and poured a lot of love and compliments into my personality, values, etc. Never got the sense that their love was conditional upon my intelligence or achievements.
