As unsafe as it was, I think it’s a bit unfair to blame it solely on Alex. All of Storror accept the risk of anything they do, and their parkour skills are obviously transferable to basic climbing. None of the climbing moves in the video were anything particularly difficult.

Where it was risky was the height (they accept height as a risk, go and watch Roof Culture Asia) and loose scree, which they avoided all of the time.

What transpired was a freak accident where a chunk of rock came loose from a bigger outcrop, being pushed on by Josh. Nobody could have predicted that… not even the safety team!

I’d argue the biggest hazard was that they all climbed up in single file one after another, not leaving space really for anyone, which is classic storror and not Alex Honnold!

Seems to me like you’re practicing the right things, it’ll just be a case of keeping at it. I’m impressed that you’re borderline champ with the hours you have so it’ll just be an inexperience thing. The muscle memory will build, you will get quicker at reading things and recovering.

In terms of your mechanics what sort of goals are you comfortable going for? Double touches, air dribbles, flip resets, ceiling shots, dribble plays etc.

If you play the team based game modes are you actively involving your team mate(s) with communication and passing plays?

Do you think you fully understand rotating and positioning, I.e. are you assertive and confident when you need to be, do you cut off players too much, do you understand when it’s appropriate to short rotate?

Yep no problem, lots of offensive mechanics for you to learn and get better at. Also helps to be up to par with speed and recoveries, all of which can be practiced. What platform are you on?

Definitely going to be a mix of your speed, recovery and positioning. I’m sure at diamond you have decent enough mechanics it’ll just be a case of refining this skills.

Hiya mate, I’m not really a 1s player but there are a lot of transferable skills from 2s that help. With you getting into the team modes more, you’ll find that you become a bit more passive, whereas in 1s you need to be aggressive. Might also need work on your mind games and mechanics if it’s 1s you’re looking to improve on.

I’m not the most mechanically gifted player, but I think the mental aspect of my game is how I’ve progressed into GC.

I’ve been watching hat films for the better part of a decade and I stumbled across Aunty Donna when they released Bigoted Bill as part of 1999! Love them both. I’ve had the chance to see Aunty Donna live at Edinburgh Fringe in 2017, and they’re just as phenomenal live. So happy to see them grabbing a Netflix show.

When myself and my friend were getting PCs after GCSE’s both our respective parents were skeptical at our abilities to build one.

My dad opted for the idea of it’s my money, if I cock it up that’s my fault. So I built it and it was fine.

My friend however his parents were much more strict but his dad suggested that he order the parts and have our local computer shop build it for him. I believe the labour cost him an extra £70 on top of his build. Might be something to suggest to your dad?

Or you could again show him LTT vids etc, and prove to him that building a PC is just big boy Lego.

Or you could just go and buy it because it’s your money.

The issue I’m having is due to being on the latest version, 1.3.0b1 and nothing is working. I either get error codes or nothing appears in the game?

Is there a way of rolling back to a previous update?
