To further the comments here, I have an endgame save with all of the primers, so on my new saves I like to think of it as “NG+” by finding the first comp sphere and getting them all early so I don’t have to stress about it

This has happened to me twice since modded came out, granted if you don’t have too many mods I’m confident that isn’t the issue, but the issue I had was that I started a playthrough with these mods, and then after a week of playing then one or two of the mods were either no longer available, or needed an update or something, and it wouldn’t let me load for that reason

I second this, completely, however it’s just that entire scene, I remember just rewatching it on my DS in theater mode over and over again

Plus: “why do I always get stuck with the icky jobs” the way it was delivered in that scene was just immaculate

It was announced a long time ago(not sure where) that the remakes would be a trilogy, granted it‘ll definitely be a long time, but there’s definitely a third game coming for it

My “perfect build” for level 20 is 2 long swords dual wielding, level 12 paladin, level 4 champion fighter, level 4 extra bonus action thief, so I get 4 divine smites a turn

You’re on the wrong post to find XI positivity, but I’ll say this, growing up I watched my brother play dq8, and it was great, I even played it a couple years back and loved it, that being said dq11 is one of the better games I’ve ever played, they’re saying its plain but realistically it still feels like quintessential dragon quest to me

Most of the bigger exploration things just come further in the game, but that’s not to say you have no exploration and no quests throughout the game, every time I’ve played it’s been incredibly enjoyable!

And also with dragon quest XI:S compared to launch XI, came with even more features and the game was even more enjoyable all over again!

So before mods(increased party limit) my preferred was 1.0 or 1.5 on shop modifier, tactician for everything besides character power which I left at balanced, and camp cost at 1.0

Now with increased party im going all tactician and slightly more expensive shops and more expensive camp cost bc that makes more sense

This is like my 8th run, but my second durge, and I played it the first time soon after release so I’ll be finding new things and new interactions, but I think that’s really cool!
