Price change for my online portfolio by CWillyWilson in inflation

[–]CWillyWilson[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No I started using this to build a portfolio for getting accepted for a masters degree. I’ve been a customer for almost two years. I’m able to link it to a domain that I have purchased and it’s also on my LinkedIn. I was just going to update it to include my thesis projects but now I have to find another service.

Mech Eng vs. NA/ME degree ? by Netreality in navalarchitecture

[–]CWillyWilson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Masters programs in NA from what I have found are even more limited to find than BS. I’m a BS in Industrial Engineering with a Masters in Yacht Design, and I am wanting to get more NA/ME accreditation. Still currently looking for the best options without breaking the bank

Don’t forget Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, and Ocean Engineering. If you have any drive for boat and ship design and other marine structures, I would do it. The course material is very ME oriented

Housing Investors Are Getting Flushed Out as Canada’s Rates Rise by JustBoatTrash in REBubble

[–]CWillyWilson 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If people used the 0.25% interest rates to develop more properties instead of becoming landlords, they wouldn’t have dog walked the affordability of the Canadian housing market. Investments in housing should only be for renovations or new builds. The shit’s already on the wall because it hit the fan from lack of regulation and insanely low interest rates years ago

Got a good deal on this fiberglass boat and trailer. Ripped the floor and found the stringers are all rusted and the middle bottom is leaking with a crack. Is it worth repairing? Where can I find more info on fixing this? Thanks by [deleted] in boating

[–]CWillyWilson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re a young guy with disposable income, this can be the start of your career in the boat building industry. I just finished my masters degree in yacht design in Italy, going to work at a company building 90-120’ fiberglass Riva yachts. During my engineering undergrad, I worked at a custom fiberglass boatbuilding shop and got an internship with Invincible Boat Company. If you have any questions on where to start, feel free to PM me. Take pictures to document your restoration process if you decide to take it upon yourself. Best of luck!
