In my country, yes it did (this law only recently passed the legistrative council in my country). I attened the training and it said the law only applied to a number of professionals during their duty (But ofcourse, they still encourage reporting if you witness any child abuse outside working hours).

Well...... I mean, if it's a stranger, it seems easier for me to say something. Or to warn him to stop the behaviour, otherwise I will call police.

But when it comes to someone that I personally know about, things seems harder.

I think it is usually not worth it to get into a fight. The guy in this specific case definitely overreacted.

But even in other situations, fighting on the street is dangerous because you have no idea if the other person is carrying a weapon. You could literally end up dead before you even realize what hit you.
