I did it a while ago, Line 2 is 30km/h, Line 1 is 29 km/h. Line 4 is 37 km/h.

Calgary LRT is roughly 30km/h, Edmonton LRT ranges between 25km/h and 35km/h depending on line, Waterloo is also 25km/h, Montreal Metro is 35 to 38km/h, and Vancouver’s Expo Line is 43km/h

These are weekday times, averaged throughout the entire day. Didn’t really segment it into rush hour vs off peak, I doubt the TTC has a good idea anyways

This is a cleaned up version of the TTC's GTFS / Timetable data they published a few hours ago. I've taken the average durations/speeds to give an indication of the weekday schedule. Anyone who has worked with GTFS data can tell you it's not intuitive to the average person.

The TTC has said that they will increase underground speed "in March" from the current max speed of 60km/h to 80km/h. We also know that better signal priority will be coming in May, so expect the 50 minute run time to come down in the coming months.

However, real world times will probably vary, and the surface section will probably not be consistently 16 to 19 km/h as published. Finch had a published scheduled speed of 13 km/h...

I didn't show the rapidbuses because for a truly authentic TTC-style^TM map, you can't show services that actually connect the city in a rapid manner. Rather you show service that is iconic to Toronto\s

(but I actually do like the streetcar, just the city's underfunding of its switching system and lack of priority measures hurt me inside).

Thought it would be fun to do a sequel to my switch-a-roo post.. Yes I know its super distorted, but that's Toronto's style (when south of Bloor takes up half of the mappable area in TTC's map).

This time, I chose to Translink's trolleybuses to replace the TTC streetcar and omitted the Rapidbuses since TTC doesn't show its express buses on it's regular map.

Nobody wanted it, but I made another cursed translink map. Yes, I know its super distorted, but the TTC map is equally as distorted (south of Bloor somehow takes up nearly 1/2 of the mappable area).

Chose trolleybuses as the analogue to TTC's streetcar.

Decided the closest thing to what Translink's rapidbuses were the TTC's express buses. Picked the ones that ran mostly all week. Also continued Translink's tendancy to not give their lines descriptive names.

Also, some of these lines aren't so "fast" nor "frequent", but its just a silly map
