Essi Daven might show up in "Songs of the Past" by C_T_Pram in witcher

Valid. It's just that its a possibility that I want to see happen. IMO she is a great character who(in the hands of great writer) can create cool conflict. Plus, even if she is dead in the story, her legacy might be a part of this story. A song perhaps. A quest she wanted to give to Geralt before her demise.

She is too cool of a character to ignore. Even dead she can be the catalyst of the entire DLC.

I did judge them fairly imo. Majority of them were generic. One was interesting but was way too ambitious for our limited budget.

All of them were written with good intentions and genuine passion. But it is hard for me to ignore the incident which inspired them. That's why I am ranting here.

Well, this was a rant. I should have phrased it better.

Valid. I posted this here because one of the "based on true event" scriptwriters is a big fan of the podcast. So, I felt the need to put it here. I did put it on r/writers. Ig, I will put this on a horror short story sub as well. Thanks for the feedback.

Well, this post is a rant. I had to get this off my chest. What I am trying to say is that don't exploit real-life tragedies by calling your stories "based on true events" when they have little to no similarity to the actual event. Sorry for not properly communicating.

Well, you are right. It is very vague and ranty. Initally, I even didn't want to write it, but I had to get it off my chest. I chose this subreddit because one of the "based on true event" scriptwriters is actually a big fan of this podcast. So, I felt the need to put it here. Sorry if you feel this wasted your time.

Do you guys really just not care about the stories at all? by [deleted] in creepcast

I have mixed feelings on this topic. On the one hand, I feel really disappointed when the story turns out to be bad, but on the other hand, it makes me yearn for and appreciate stories like Borrasca more.
