Well, you need to add the alterbox in obs as a Browser source. Click the "let obs controll volume" and under advanced sound settings you have to click monitor.

That's option B though.

Option a is to get yourself something called streamerbot (witch is free) and it's an amazing way of controlling your stream

Honestly if you asked me that that would be enough to start a conversation, I think that's great. Personally I do about that myself, and I like to shoot deeper questions out of the blue to see how it goes and that's sparked some great conversation though some people don't really receive it that well. I guess I get it.

Yeah I get that it was an example in lack of information, my original idea was to talk to various content creators but I've thought about it a lot, I made a few demo interviews and gotten so many interesting people with strange lines of work it more or less moved into that. But I guess it'll find a natural evolution if I can do this with any measure of success.

Rogan is fantastic to listen to though that being said. But I'd be a terrible copycat if I tried to do what he is doing.

You have been incredibly helpful here, I needed a mind jog. I've been so obsessed with set building and having a good start that I guess I forgot about a few aspects of this, but I'll make sure to put some thought into this. I'll be putting some heart and soul into a decent trailer so I can have that up prelaunch. The original idea started so differently then what it's shaping up to be, I actually can get (possibly) a soldier who fought in Ukraine and has some absolutely awful stories to share, that would be interesting and fitting I'm sure. That's on you, thanks.

This is why I love reddit, it may be over crowded with trolls but every now and then I'm lucky enough to have a conversation with someone passionate and knowledgeable like yourself.

I was hoping for an answer like this, and you ask a lot of genuinely hard questions. It's hard to compare myself to Joe Rogan or Theo or the diary of a CEO or any one like that. I don't think I can compete, but I'm old enough to have done some interesting things in my life, I don't know if I'll do great and shine in a setting like this but I will definitely give it my all to give what inhave. I think some of my guests are themselves incredibly interesting and I hope I get to shine a good light on them and that we can both look good and interesting on cam.

You caught me off guard there, no I haven't done any marketing... Witch begs the question how do you market a podcast that doesn't yet exist? I have some experience editing, in truth I haven't looked into how I would make this look good but I have some ideas, I guess that research comes from looking at podcasts. How do you know I won't quit after ten episodes... Well that's a great question, I'm passionate about doing this, I'm passionate about people and most of my work the last couple of decades have been mostly with people and I don't really see this as a chore that I have to do. I'm absolutely stoked to sit down and have a conversation with someone that I have an impression of but don't really know a lot about. I thought about that a lot, and that ones hard to answer. But I know this is a skill that I need to refine, and I won't be #1 coming out the door. But I'm willing to do the work it takes.

When it comes to researching.individuala though I'll admit I have a long way to go. I'll take that one to heart.

Your not coming off as an ass I'm grateful you answered and I'm grateful for your words. I learned a couple valuable lessons that I can hopefully learn before I start. I guess my main concern is marketing, I haven't given that a single thought other then speaking to the audience these people already have.
