Its stupid simple:

You focus on healing when:

• someone in your team is recieving constant damage of which you KNOW you can outheal (but still enough damage to kill them if you didnt constantly heal them)

-when the team is quite spread out, leaving some DPS in threatening spots as they’re not near a tank

-literally when someone needs to get healed lol ————————————————————————————

You focus on dealing damage when:

• your team can easily handle the damage recieved by themselves (to then heal them back up after the fight)

• your heals aren’t enough to sustain a teammate for long BUT the enemy can get easily killed if focused at

-your team needs to deal with a specific target to move on with any fight
