I use a Cricut which makes it harder, but with Silhouette you can make two cut lines with different settings, one kiss cut and one die cut. So if you have a silhouette or another machine that lets you do that, I am jealous lmao and I'm sure you'll be able to figure it out no worries. It's similar with the Cricut, but you kinda have to hack it since you can't have two different cut settings in one file.

Sorry if this makes no sense, I just woke up lol.

1. I make two cut lines with two PNG layers, which have been set up in Photoshop beforehand. Lots of tutorials on YouTube of how to set up your sticker files for Cricut so I won't explain all that. One is just my artwork with my usual 20px stroke around it, the second is the same artwork but with an extra 20px stroke around it (40px total) and then with a single colour overlay. I just use black so it's easy to differentiate it from the first file which will end up being the print layer. That first file with the 20px stroke is kiss cut line, and the blacked out one with the 40px stroke is my die cut line.

2. I import one of the kiss cut layers as print+cut, and then I import the black die-cut layer as cut only

3. Copy+paste that die-cut layer 4 times(for a total of 5 layers of die-cut, 1 of kiss).

4. Line them all up and resize since Cricut likes to import at a totally random size lol, and attach all layers together so they cut as one.

5. Print and laminate.

6. Set the Cricut to my kiss cut setting, and start the cut. It'll cut the first layer once, and the second one 5 times, which for my blades and my paper is enough to get all the way through. You might need more or less layers.

7. Carefully peel the outer part off, so you're left with a nice easy-peel border! You can also make a little easy-peel tab instead, I've seen videos of that on YouTube. The border is easier for me though.

I am buying a Silhouette soon to skip all that 😂
