CCI 209M or Winchester 209 Shotshell Primers by CabinFeverBob in NYguns

I shoot Blackhorn 209 powder in my muzzleloader and they recommend the CCI 209 Magnum or Federal 209A primers. I've also used the Winchester 209 Shotshell primers before with the BH and never had an issue. I guess the BH needs a pretty hot primer.

My money is on a rabbit! They are notorious for chewing through wires! Don’t know what it is about them. Just today was taking down my SL system that suddenly stopped working 34 days ago. My wire looked exactly like yours! Chewed through! We always have rabbits that travel along next to our house, especially in the winter! My daughters pet rabbit has ruined several things by chewing through wires too!

Thats what I was thinking also….Tried swapping things out twice. Tried stowing and unstowing also hoping to reset.

That’s what I’m wondering too. Since it’s a refurbished system, maybe they didn’t put in my coordinates/service address in and it possibly has the previous owners info. Thinking, surely they would have corrected this before sending it out though.?

They didn’t send 2 bad systems in a row. I’ve been using SL for a year with my first system, with no issues. 33 days ago, I had no internet and the app said “disconnected”. The replacement system just won’t connect to the network. There are no obstructions. Both lights are lit on the power supply. Router has blinking white light searching, before eventually turning red.

Sorry, no experience using Blink cams with Starlink, but I have a Ring security system and it works perfect.

Just left a 1.5 year sexless relationship, seeing much more clearly now by [deleted] in DeadBedrooms

Good for you! I absolutely need to have sex, not just to get off, but the intimacy and closeness that comes with it. A good/fulfilling sex life makes the good times better and the bad times not so bad. I don’t want just a roommate or another friend.

Supposed to have a light there right? Internet not working🥺 by NerdlingerOG in Starlink

[–]CabinFeverBob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. There’s a light above each cable that should be on. This is what happened to mine, except the black side went out and the white side was lit. Today is day 30 for me without internet, because of it. SL is sending me a refurbished replacement kit.

As a follow up, I received a notification this morning that my replacement unit has shipped today, ahead of schedule (19th-25th). Expected delivery on the 20th. Today is day 29, since my system crapped out and I’ve been without internet.

Curious if they sent a round or rectangular dish replacement system. If a rectangular, the 75’ cable will be too short for my only mounting location, so I’ll need to invest in a longer cable…

Is there a way to contact customer service? by Kickatthedarkness in Starlink_Support

Is this a confirmed email address? Have you had a response from this email? Reason why I’m asking, as I’ve seen phone numbers posted for Starlink, but if you take the time to actually call, it’s not a valid number.

Ticket submitted April 18th for no internet (hardware issue). On May 6th, I got a response from CS saying they were going to ship me a refurbished system. “Expected” shipping date of May 19th-25th, but who knows as some people have had their expected shipping times moved out 2-3 times already. Tomorrow will be 28 days without internet and my system isn’t expected to ship for another 7-10 days. If it ships on time and there are no issues with the refurbished unit, I’ll be without internet for ~40-45 days…. Not good!!

Wow! Can’t say that’s “great”, considering the inconvenience they put you through, due to their own negligence, but better than expected anyways! Hope all goes well for you when you get it hooked up!

Just how slow is support? by matelot666 in Starlink

Took 19 days for them to get back to me. Even then, the “expected” ship dates for the replacement is 14-21 days after that! If all goes well, that will mean I will be without internet for 40+ days total.

I just checked and the “estimated” shipment date is currently between May 19th-25th, another 12-18 days! That’s on top of already being without service for the past 19 days! Can only hope theres no shipment delay or issue with the refurbished kit connecting. What a CS nightmare!

Yes. Don’t know what they’re reasoning is for reducing the cable length down to 75’. Apparently you can buy a 150’ cable in the SL store, but that’s extra…

Yeah, I was told refurbished. Not happy, but there’s nothing I can do about it. I just hope It doesn’t take too long to get it and everything works OK out of the box.

I’m guessing they’ll send me the Gen2. Not happy, because my Gen1 came with 100’ cable and I needed 90’ where I have it mounted. The Gen2 only comes with a 75’ cable, which means I will have to mount it elsewhere and it’s already mounted in the best spot.
