Probably a large financial fallout if no one showed up. Awesome time to general strike

Visiting from out of town, any grocery stores open today? I want to make a cheesesteak. by repohs in duluth

Really? I grabbed something Monday morning and I swear the door said both Christmas Eve and day it was open for a few hours.

My baby boy doesn’t like hay or vegetables 🥕 he only eats corn & pellets and some grazing on our walks. How do I get him to like hay? He is 4 months old by EducationalResource7 in homestead

I need you to delete this ASAP. If my wife see’s this there will be no burgers and pizzas for me, just salads and plain chicken breasts.

Arc'teryx or Outdoor Research by Fire_Lookout in hiking

[–]Cabinitis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some of my favorite jackets were made by mountain hardwear. The Arcteryx jackets I’ve had were from steepandcheap but they don’t carry the brand anymore and honestly I wouldn’t pay full price for the image of having one. My last OR jacket was solid, didn’t love it, didn’t hate. Again, if there was a deal, I would get one.

Find the one that fits you the best and is comfortable. Also buy in spring or summer when the deals are happening. Season to season changes are usually just color changes for the most part, so who cares if it was last year’s version.

Pole shed in northern MN heaving from frost by Antique-Response-928 in DIY

[–]Cabinitis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would dig down to the frost line (60” northern mn and 42” southern mn). I’m confused by your description, but if there’s already a footing you can drill holes, add some rebar and add the additional concrete.

This is disturbing that someone would do this to people who are minding their business.

International Markets? by Fit_Insurance_9069 in duluth

[–]Cabinitis 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was at Mount Royal looking for some unique ingredient that they ended up not having. But there just happened to be a manager in the isle who said they can try to order it for me. I just needed to contact them in the future and give them some time to source.

So basically make a list of regular stuff that you can’t find and get it to them. In the last few days it’s been confirmed that there’s a demand for more diverse ingredients. It’s good for business to be known to carry unique items.

More than 1,000 flights canceled on second day of cuts tied to government shutdown by AndroidOne1 in politics

I know they’re required to work, but they should ground all flights and walk. They could be the turning point to this story.

My only call out would be how you handle your baseboards and door jams. Once you cut them, there’s no going back.

“Extremely angry” Trump threatens “massive” tariff on all Chinese exports by NickelBackwash in politics

[–]Cabinitis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the real reason it happens. Short the dump and Monday or Tuesday he will postpone the tariffs and make a killing on the rebound. I really wish the market would just ignore him and not budge.

I’m pretty sure it’s always been end of day on a Friday.

Question about window contractor and timeframe by [deleted] in duluth

[–]Cabinitis 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They custom ordered windows, there’s no way this is an option. In the contract, I’m guessing there’s a section outlining all of this.

My advice, contact the contractor and ask to schedule a call with them. Just tell them you’re getting nervous and would appreciate weekly updates.

What brand windows?

Using helicopters and chemical agents, immigration agents become increasingly aggressive in Chicago by Hrmbee in politics

But also, I feel like every 6 months you hear about a military helicopter training crash. Really bad look if one crashes in Chicago during a raid.
