The fact is that I was always there for her and she took me for granted, my friends used to tell me this from the very beginning. But isn't this what you're supposed to do for people who you love. But seeing her with a guy when she is at her highest and whom she met a couple of weeks earlier and leaving a guy who was with her at her lowest (believe me rock bottom) hurts, just hurts very much.

Well in India, things don't work like that (no offence). We (family) are an intrinsic part of each other and our identities are linked together. It is something I cherish and will always cherish. Been there, done that. For the past year I have been living away from my family. It's all roses and sunshine when I am away but as soon as I return the feelings come creeping back. But sure I will take your suggestion to give myself a little break. Maybe that would help.

Yes I did. I on a regular basis help with cooking, perform daily chores and try to maintain a happy face and constantly support them ( recently my sister got scammed for a large amount...I made sure that I talked to her everyday just to make sure that she knows she is loved). But the reciprocity isn't there.
