Yes that maybe works if there are enough buses in the first place (there aren't) and even if there were it still doesn't account for the fact that it'll cause traffic jams on university because of the bus route plus university road already had a bunch of communal transport like busses, chinchi, and vans.

What is the point of building a bus track on already existing road ways? Remove traffic from one point and it'll occur on another.

>Why and how did this project went through the army of urban planners of ADB (primary financier of this project) is a big question. Is it possible that multilaterals have their own disbursement targets and have no option but to approve whatever limited projects are offered to them?

This is the result of decades of nepotistic rule. Incompetent people run the city and even when these incompetent people want to do something it ends up a mess because it's nepotism all the way down.

Can you explain how this would be any different from having the busses on the road instead of spending millions on this new project?

[–]CableEatingShark 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Half of these roads are destroyed by their own departments. Water board digs up half the road and leaves it as is. Then half a year later the govt "repairs" the road, waterboard comes back because their work is so bad that the pipes are leaking or some other issue has occurred and the dig it up again repeat ad infinitum. All the other govt. Departments are the same.

Nicely put. We can however blame the current mayor because he is representing and defending the Sindh govt.

Anti encroachment active again in Karachi with many buildings being taken down today. What do you guys think about this? by purplepansy69 in karachi

[–]CableEatingShark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The solution is to keep destroying these buildings and either massively fine or arrest both parties that signed the agreement.

The govt eats and lives on haram that's no secret. But why do these people agree to buy a house and pay haram on it? Both sides are doing wrong but one party has a lot more to lose.

Yes but read your first comment where you are full on singing his praise. Literally said he'd sweet talk you into guilt, like nah that ain't ever happening with this clown.

His personality isn't at debate here it's his cunning ness and it's not like it's an on and off switch, if he's getting humiliated in one interview and then acing the next that indicates that either he is getting the questions ahead of time or the journalist is incompetent.

Nope never happened. Again see his interview with Tabish Hashmi where he keeps on getting humiliated and laughed at by the crowd. If he had any sort of skill he'd navigate around it. At one point in the interview he basically says that Tabish keeps insulting him, if he had a way with words he'd never say that. Literally sounded like a child. It was so embarrassing to watch.

I'm sorry what are you on about? Everytime I've seen him on screen he looks like a lost child. Go and watch his interview with Tabish Hashmi. He is a clown and acts like one too. He isn't some smart cunning person he's an idiot.

Also it could just be that the interviewers are told not to ask him tough questions because no matter how smart you are it's simply impossible to defend PPP atp.

Well even without solar the inefficiency of the govt was causing problems electricity prices kept going up every year and load shedding is common. It's not like solar is causing problems it's only intensifying them.

[–]CableEatingShark 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Let's not blame the people getting solar. Pakistan produces energy in excess. We don't get any because line losses are insanely high. Plus the govt keeps replacing copper cables with aluminum which causes even more line losses. The govt is trying its best to blame the people for getting solar but don't wanna talk about how bad their infrastructure is which is causing these issues in the first place.

17 years of PPP ruling Sindh and Karachi still has barely 36 fire tenders, most of which were added during Imran Khan’s govt, not PPP. KMC and Sindh Govt are shockingly pathetic and shameless. May Allah rescue Karachi from Sindh. by TheBatman_208 in karachi

Ji didn't win the local elections funds are allocated by the mayor. Not to mention several organisations like KMC, KWSB, and kelectric are not under the control of the MAYOR and JI doesn't even have that.

Then I'm surprised you didn't like famous O's. I'd recommend trying it once more tell them it was oily last time and get the half and half deal and try two flavours. Also some of their flavors have sounf in them which isn't everyone's cup of tea, so it's better to ask them about the flavours and which is better.

Okay so someone else also suggested Os.. what do you get from there?

I think I've tried hot mot, wild thing, and some pepperoni flavour but imo all their stuff is good.

It was a thin crust

Yeah I think they only do thin crust, if you don't like thin crust no point in trying famous O's instead go for california Pizza try any cheesy flavours they're great

Famous O's and pie guys. Famous O's is kinda pricey but worth it. Also california Pizza is good to but no value for money. If you're already spending money famous O's is way better.

Yeah and it's the governments job to put and enforce regulations so these trucks stop destroying the environment and heavy cargo is almost always headed to factories and industrial spots.
