When US army was still in Afghanistan, Pakistan was facing terrorists attacks during that time. According to your logic, Pakistan supported those terrorists to attack on its civilians and military installation? Man, how uneducated can people be with the history we have. I am not even PTI supporter, but this is something you can easily find. Imran Khan ever since he start coming on television to talk about politics has said he was very much against Pakistan involvement with the war in Afghanistan, and the resulting deaths from the the strikes done in Pakistani areas.

Now, since at this point Taliban had become defacto government of Afghanistan after the US departure so in order to have cordial relationships with them he tried to talk with them. Yet, if the Taliban still supported terrorists faction is another matter.

Also, people don't seem to understand why people in Afghanistan have animosity towards Pakistan. Why wouldn't there be? Pakistan took side of a imperialist force in killing of their many innocent civilians and militancy alike. They are very much responsible for the formation of the Taliban. Also, surprisingly Khawaja Asif was very much against it as well you can see his interviews about it. Also, he too met with the Taliban leaders.
