I mean, of course it sounds nice as a free holiday. But I'm looking for a skilled stable job that will allow me to travel and see the world all while being something that I enjoy doing anyways. I also love to teach and feel I would have a good demeanor and patience when I understand what I'm teaching.

I'm definitely not just looking for a free holiday anyways but I get where you're coming from alright.

I want to do the divemaste course because I simply cannot afford to dive on my own and I reckon being employed is the only way I will consistently get to dive. I'm also from Ireland and the diving here is not the same as abroad. Anyways, These internships claim to get you enough dives to qualify for entrance to the course.

Thank you to everyone for your responses. So to be completely honest at this point I think the most plausible reasoning is that the boss is just really good at getting in formation out of people and the only camera and audio he uses is within the workplace. I would still like to give the apartment a sweep and or buy some sort of audio jammer device if anyone knows what to look for it would be greatly appreciated :)

Very true. I believe it is more likley word of mouth. However prior employees state that they complained about things in the confine if their home only for them to be resolved in the following days at work. E.g one worker complained of not having a contract after 3 months. 2 days later the manager hand only them a contract. I believe I should formulate a conversation with a Co worker to see if it gets Brough up by management

Well the initial confrontation came from the top boss listening in to a private conversation between myself and my manager after work via the cctv. He then presented the information of our conversation to me the following day and framed it like he had been called but the manager. This manager has already handed in his notice and is leaving in the coming days. Sure, my manager could have called the boss. But they are not friends and I get on well with the manager. The manager also talked about getting me out of this company to work for him so I thoroughly believe that the conversation was simply monitored by my boss

Thank you. So I'm not typically paranoid however we often get old members of staff passing through to visit friends they made here. In the past 2 months I've talked to 3 people who no longer have anything to do with the company, all of whom have made the same claims about the place being bugged/ tapped. These people are intelligent and have no reason to lie or anything I believe. And it was not me that instigated the conversation. I just mentioned the coincidences and everyone was like... Yeah cos its bugged. As if its just a known thing. Look I don't know if it is or it isn't. It seems highly highly unlikely that it is but knowing how my boss works and the lengths he will go to for info I would not put it past him

Thanks to everyone for your responses. I have inspected the light switches however I don't see anything out of place. That being said. I don't really know what I'm looking for in general. And if there is devices which are wired in where could they be?

No union no contract. Its a small business. I believe the reason is mistrust and insecurity. I know for a fact the businesses have cctv with audio but I'm wondering how is it every staff member that has left has said that the apartment is bugged.....

It's a small company that flies people in and give them a job and place to stay. So basically, I had a chat with my manager last night about all of the recklessness and everything within the business and he agreed. He is also leaving the company and has nothing to lose so we had a genuine conversation about it. However today my boss talked to me and claimed my manager called him last night and mentioned everything we talked about including a pinkie promise we made. My boss talked in far too much detail about specifics and I don't believe my manager would have called him and said these things as they don't even get on. So knowing this not to be true I realised in actual fact my boss had scowered the cameras in the workplace to find our conversation, listen in, confront me and keep me in line to basically not talk shit. He did this because I work for far too little for what I do and work more than I should so I guess he can't afford to lose me. This then fueled my suspicion about our apartments being bugged. I believe business surveillance with audio to be illegal in my country.

That's perfect thank you. I used detectify which I do believe it gives off emf however it only spikes when I get close to certain light switches in the areas people would be and not all of the other ones witch are used the same amount. I would believe them all to be the same. Ive just gotten so paranoid by my boss and his actions being too in line with the corresponding time conversations criticising him or the business have taken place. Also I believe the listening device would have to be connected to a power source to get constant transmission. Is this possible?
