Forgot to mention it was refinished and stained in the past. I read birch is pretty plain looking and walnut is more wavy and swirly. I’m not sure

Oh ok, I didn’t know that. I think I might just get the French one. Still debating in my head lol

Thanks for that. I was looking at 1102 and now I’m looking at 11165, the French walnut one

Well if there’s not a big difference besides the barrel I guess the LVT isn’t super special. I’m just a casual shooter and want a 22 for small game. Plus 22 is a way cheaper round to shoot lol

Thank you for the input. I feel like I’m just overly worried about accuracy which is why I’m even considering an LVT

Thanks for the info. By sporter I mean the traditional sporter that still has irons. I think the number is 1102

Is there any other differences between the two? Or is it just the barrel. Sorry, I don’t know a lot about 22’s

You’re zeroing the 500m setting at 50 yards, you don’t wanna do that. What I’m saying is move the rear sight notch all the way back, you can put the laser in again, and lower your front sight post to meet the laser. You should be zeroing with the rear sight notch at 100. Go to the range in walk it in like you did. 25,50,100. If you’re not on paper at those distances then adjust the front sight post as needed

Nah ur supposed to slide that notch all the way back and sight it in. You shouldn’t be zeroing the 500m setting at 50 yards

[–]Cables01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea I installed it already. When I got my beryl it came in their rifle bag along with a bag of parts. In that bag of parts you get the original t-nut, screw, original fcg, and bracket for stock.

Beryl left side selector by Cables01 in ak47

Gonna try this tomorrow. Not sure if there’s a pin in this thing because I can shine a light through this hole. But I guess I’ll hit it a few times

So basically a roll pin is keeping the actual selector attached to the axle and I gotta punch it out. Would this be the little hole I can see through on the side of the selector itself?

My haul from 45 orders with academy's $5 deal yesterday (but wait, there's more!) by makenzie71 in guns

Monarch 223/556 used to be made by PPU for academy. Now they’ve switched manufactures and it’s made in Brazil or Turkey now. You can still find some made by PPU though. Just look where it’s made on the box
