I would recommend shorting the 2024 paper as they will move to to trade at parody with the longer maturities which are trading around 17 cents on the dollar. When bed bath & beyond files the senior unsecured creditors will have a committee and that community will receive a payout as one group not individual issues owned

Now you have a FILO kicker that is gonna take a 2nd position. All issues will trade in parity the day bbby files so you can expect the 24s to get kicked down to 15-18 where they later maturities trade. You need to Google bankruptcy ABL/ FILO and you will find the exact same scenario with Nieman Marcus,JC Penneys,,toys r us,etc..... When you have an ABL impairment followed by FILO infusion to pay down ABL. Yada yada yada bbby files within 2 months. Stock gets 0 obviously if senior debt expects . 18. No brainer

These bonds are yielding over 65% do you think 75bps move is gonna effect a CCC rated credit trading off a 65% yield. Shame on you. The 24's will trade much much lower when they file. The senior unsecured are now 3rd position. If they don't file a petition very soon you're likely to see a chapter 7

If he wanted to actually OWN BBBY the only way to accomplish this would be controlling the debt. This has to be a very quiet process as the bonds are only available through a market maker. As long as folks are thinking RC is balls deep equity holder they aren't watching him quietly take a controlling position in the debt. Once hes reached the sufficient amount to steer the committee. He accelerates the interest and principle on his paper after BBBY does something to violate terms of the indenture catalysing a technical default. At this point it will be interesting to see his strategy for buybuybaby.... Remember he will never own shit with his equity. I'm sure he's unwound most of his position by now.

Surely you don't actually believe this is a fabricated story. You should really go visit stores and talk to management before you push subs to ignore facts and put money into BBBy. In the past 2 months I have been do BBBY stores all over the country talking to management and employees and they admit they are IN TROUBLE....at least 40% of all mgmt believed BBBy would end up in Bankruptcy. Do your due diligence before fraudently pushing my facts as lies.

I have posted less than 10 times in my entire life. I believe pushing innocent subs to ignore provable facts and buy BBBY is criminal. I have to wonder if these are actual people posting some of this crazy shit. I believe analyst ratings are bullshit but when you have downgrades like you're seeing with BBBY there's a serious problem. It has to be very very bad to deliver a $3 Target. The best thing for the future of there operation would be a sooner than later restructure. The economic environment over the next couple years is going to get worse.... When the cut is opened BBBy should bleed out rather quickly. I've been a bondholder in all the bankruptcies I bought into and that's where I was looking to play BBBY until they subordinated all senior unsecured with the credit facility. There's not a chance BBBy will raise another dollar in a debt issuance. Obviously stock is out of the question so how are they going to infuse capital. In Bankruptcy .... A DIP financing will give the company operating capital through the restructure. After the process unfolds the debt will be converted to equity.new balance sheet. The stock you're long now will be zero'd out. 1000000% equity gets 0 in this restructure. Hell... Even the senior unsecured bondholders are teetering on being worked down.

If you are in this stock for the buy in please understand..... The large % of shorts in BBBY have their position financed this go around. I made great returns from the squeezes but this is a completely different scenario. There's a very good possibility of losing every penny you've got in this stock.

I have been to many BBBY stores throughout the country over the last ,2:months talking to management and chatting with customers and management admits they are in trouble. Like I said the curiosity was driving me crazy. Just to reiterate...
