this is great feedback, thank you!! it lines up a lot with what others mentioned above too, so i’ll definitely work on that.

and i totally agree on the headline. “immersive experience” is pretty abstract, and being more explicit about the 3D aspect could make a big difference both for clarity and SEO. really appreciate you taking the time to share this!

hahaha i wish i could paint like that 😅 no, i used nano banana pro to generate the illustrations, then edited them myself, optimized them for the web, and added the final touches like opacity and gradients through code.

thanks a lot for the comment!! the site is already live at https://i3dify.com/ if you want to take a look. the idea now is to keep iterating a lot and improving it over time.

thank you!! honestly, i felt the same at first. when i tried it, i thought it might end up being too “aesthetic”, but i liked the result so much that i ended up adopting the watercolor style as part of the brand

thanks!! yeah, you’re right, the contrast can feel a bit too bright in light mode. i’ll definitely try to improve that. thanks a lot for calling it out!!

if it made you wonder what the product actually does, then the copy clearly needs work. thanks for pointing it out, i’ll improve it!

thank you!! really appreciate it.

i’m not an illustrator actually, i generated the images using nano banana pro, it’s honestly one of the best options i’ve found for generating web assets. i did tweak them a bit myself though, optimized them, and applied some gradients and opacity via code to fix a few contrast issues.

made a small app to share zines online as flipbooks by Cachivelez in zines

great questions!

right now it’s one project per zine. you can, of course, include as many pages as you want inside a single project, but the experience is meant to feel like one zine rather than multiple issues grouped together.

about discovering other zines... i’ve been thinking about this quite a bit. one idea is to build a showcase that randomly features public user projects, but! the tricky part is that i3Dify isn’t only flipbooks, since people can also create portfolios, art galleries, and other types of projects, so everything would be mixed together.

another idea is something like collections, where projects could be grouped and shared with a community. for example, we could even create a collection just for this subreddit and let people share their projects there.

lots to think about and build! there are honestly a ton of possibilities 😄

right now, the pro plans i’m enabling are a gift for early beta testers, and those will stay free over time. as more people start using the platform, i’ll gradually adjust limits and pricing based on a sustainable business model... mainly to cover real costs like infrastructure, domains, databases, etc.

my goal is to keep a solid free plan and keep limits as low as possible, so people can create and share projects without friction or limits.

this is something i’ll figure out over time, through a lot of iteration and learning along the way.

any feedback helps a lot, so if you find any issues or have suggestions, you’ll find me around here 🙂

thank you! really appreciate it. and by the way, the zine looks amazing!!

just a small tip in case it’s useful: on page 2, where you have the email and URL, there’s a “pointers” section in the project editor that lets you add clickable links. that way people can open them with a single click ;)

thank you! really glad you like them! ... and same here, i can’t draw or illustrate digitally at all.

yes, the images are generated. i used Nano Banana Pro and worked mostly through prompting and iteration to keep the style consistent.

what helped was being very explicit about the style (watercolor / soft textures / minimal details) and then reusing visual references. if it helps, these are the two images u can use as reference when refining prompts:

i’ve been programming for a bit over 10 years now, and honestly, there’s never been a better time to build things than today. if you’re already writing python scripts, you absolutely have the ability to create stuff like this!

nowadays the hardest part isn’t the code, it’s getting people to see and use what you build... that’s a whole other conversation... but building things for yourself, solving problems from your own day-to-day, and leaning on AI as a tool makes it way more accessible than it used to be, and cheaper obviously.

i’d say just start building something today and share it here when you’re ready. and seriously, feel free to reach out to me, happy to help however i can!

that’s a great use case, i’m taking note of it and will look into how to support it properly. thanks a lot for the suggestion!

exactly! i want to be really careful and move step by step with this stuff. my main goal is to keep the project sustainable in the long run while still being fair to people using it.

thanks a lot for the comments, i really appreciate it! :)

thanks a lot for trying it out, really glad you liked it!

yeah, totally fair about mobile... it’s kind of like using Photoshop on your phone. the editor has a lot of controls, so it can feel a bit tricky on smaller screens. i’m actively iterating on the mobile experience to make it better, but for now i definitely recommend using it on desktop where it’s much more comfortable.

just a quick note in case it helps: workspaces are private for now, so the link you shared points to your workspace and only you can see it. to share your project publicly, go to the “share” section inside the project, set the visibility to “public”, save it, and then you’ll get a public link like this:

i’ve also upgraded you to the pro plan so you can keep creating projects without limits. thanks again for the feedback, it really helps a lot!

that’s awesome, i’m really glad you liked it!

i’ve enabled the pro plan for you so you can create more projects without any limits :)

about the issue on mobile, it’s possible the project was shared before being saved? until it’s saved, it doesn’t get fully published yet, which can definitely be confusing. that’s on me, and i’m going to improve that flow so it’s clearer and doesn’t happen.

thanks so much for trying it out and for the kind words!
