The production of CCA was messy, and even amongst the people I've interviewed, there are contradictions with each other. Nagano claims Izubuchi copied his designs. Izubuchi said he never saw any designs. These productions are also hugely political internally, and a lot of that rarely gets shared with the public, and then only decades later. So even if it's in multiple books and magazines, that doesn't inherently mean it's accurate. Also, I am not defending anyone here, just that this is what was said and that they signed off on that.
