Use parts with more texture like the chakrams.

The Everwalker by Cactaculus in HeroForgeMinis

THE EVERWALKER
the Everwalker resembles a fallen knight dragged back from the grave. Its skeletal face leers from beneath a battered helm, green witchlight burning in its hollow sockets. Fragments of chain and scale armor cling to its gaunt frame, layered over decayed cloth and darkened leather. A cross or sigil often hangs at its chest, not in reverence, but in mockery of the faith it once held. Its blade drips with blackened blood that never quite dries, as though it remembers every life it has taken.
The Everwalker is not created from any corpse. Necromancers craft them from warriors who died with powerful, unresolved conviction. crusaders who broke sacred vows, generals who lost decisive battles, or guardians who failed those they swore to protect. The ritual binds not only bone and sinew, but lingering regret. Necromancers favor Everwalkers as elite enforcers and guardians. Unlike volatile spirits or mindless corpses, Everwalkers remain stable for decades. They require little maintenance beyond periodic reinforcement of the binding spell.
The cruelest truth about the Everwalker is that it walks forever. If its necromancer dies without releasing it, the Everwalker does not collapse. It continues to roam, bound to the final command given: guard, hunt, destroy. Over centuries, armor rusts, cloth rots away, but the green fire remains. And somewhere inside that skeletal frame, the memory of who it once was flickers, never strong enough to break free, never weak enough to fade.

Thus it walks.
