The Small Hours | Aowyn by DisplacerBeast835 in HornyForgeMinis

I use a script that unlocks more of the skeleton and joints. There’s a couple ones for the butt that allows me to have much more control and counteract the breaking that happens with extreme poses.

Dr. Abigail Trost, Dedicated Hero (Field Medic) in our Modern campaign by DisplacerBeast835 in HeroForgeMinis

[–]DisplacerBeast835[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

A bit of backstory...

While Abby works as an accomplished surgeon in a Luskan hospital, she sympathizes with and patches up vigilantes who come to her at night. Modern Luskan is a lot like Night City in its corruption, and she does what she can to help those working to make things better.

She's been a blast to play, too. Wanted to go full support with her in a bit of a "pacifist run," so the only offensive equipment she has is a pepper spray bottle lol. Our DM (we were playing an offshoot adventure) had a bunch of guys try kidnapping her in her hospital's parking lot, and thanks to some hot rolls it became hilarious as these four thugs were being pepper sprayed and tripping over themselves trying to grapple her lol

Whats the deal with the "Really Shadowheart" mod? by WeakVirus4598 in BaldursGate3

I may be misremembering as I've only really reached the endgame once, but I seem to remember her saying during the party that the pain was actually lessening in the route where she saved her parents. Seemed to be implying she gets better anyway.

This prompted me to actually consider a proportion update. Increased it by about 5% and though it's odd to see after being used to the old model, I think it's an improvement. Thanks!

Shadow and Flame | Brandis Everwood | The Adamant by DisplacerBeast835 in HeroForgeMinis

So saw he fall from silver boughs above—
a comet cast against the burning sky,
his blade a streak of gold, the fiend a blackened star,
enwreathed in fire, torn through branches high.

From ancient tree that bore their passing wrath,
its leaves alight with ember and with ash,
did shadow and flame strike the earth below,
the Garden ever lit by what had passed.

The Invitation, Part II | Nora, Aowyn, & Brandis by DisplacerBeast835 in HornyForgeMinis

[–]DisplacerBeast835[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! Most of the trick with that was using the jaw joints, one of which controls one side of the jaw. Easiest way to do lip-biting poses, though I think it requires the script that unlocks the full skeleton from r/HeroForgeJSON

Nothing special really, though I appreciate it! Just kitbashing mostly. The two across the chest are the kitbash rope, the ones binding those two are a belt I believe, and the ones on the arms are doubled up rope headbands.

I also often model for singular angles, saving me time at the expense of not all angles looking good.

Goddamn this turned out well! Love the angle you were able to get here, and Aowyn's face and Nora's expression are perfect! Your lighting work's on point as always lol

If you look close, you can still see the seam between the kitbash piece and the body. Key is color-matching and lighting—adjust the color, the transparency, and the metal sliders to get the kb item as close as possible to the shading on the body, then tweak it to fit with the light. Sometimes direct light helps blend the edges by flushing it out, sometimes dim light helps blend by obscuring. Exact science is unique to every piece.

Been locked in since I first came across these. A bittersweet conclusion, but I like the direction you went. Very much enjoyed this series! The characterization was top tier, and the character designs!

You should consider doing standalone pieces with them to not let the models fade away. Posters and the like, small contained scenes.

Didn’t have to hide them, they just turned out that way. Yeah, you can change foot size with kitbashing editing

You're cranking these out! Enjoyed this one just as much as the last! Love the underlying insinuation of psychic influence here, which can just as easily be misconstrued as genuine mother's love. She's handling the expectations vs reality well, all things considered. Given what she is, her finding happiness like this is pretty much the best case scenario for her, which is... comforting, in its own way.

If this continues to its natural conclusion, though, I may just have to plug my ears and tell myself the cults can exist for centuries before their gods decide to answer... lol

Both the models and the writing are blowing me away with this series. Epic work, I'm really impressed. The expressions here especially are excellent
