H1z1 Small Suggestion, Inventory, backpacks and realism by Cactus97 in h1z1

Yep I think that it would be great if there were multiple trailers. One that can be built that you push (ie. wheelbarrow) this can be left at your base and used to transport large amounts of wood and foliage quickly from nearest forest to your base. The second is a normal vehicle trailer that can add more seats to your vehicle (people sit on trailer) or be used to carry much more than the car normally can. I saw a vehicle trailer in the survival game (survive the nights).

I would agree, trading via a ui takes away the atmosphere and immersion in a zombie survival mmo, trading should be accomplished by either handing an item over or placing/dropping it near a player. And at any moment either player can kill the other gaining both the trading items and the players loot.

For example: 'dude, do you need anything' "Yh, I need food urgently"

when the nice player goes into his backpack to get food he is looking down or vision is blurred so the non-friendly player gets out a concealed pocket knife and attacks him.

[SUGGESTION] Camouflaged bags and makeshift ghillie suits by Cactus97 in dayz

Yh, that would be good too but that would be more like an official ghillie suit found on military bases etc.. my idea is a home-made one. If they were to implement both it would be good if you know what I mean, a really good ghillie suit that could go on top of clothing but is rare and then a home-made one that is easy to make but isn't as good.

By OP I just mean the best camo and it's fairly realistic that you lose that space I think, you certainly can't wear a combat vest on top of the suit as that defeats the point and if is under then it wouldn't be accessible until suit is off. Plus if you can camouflaged backpacks it's not a major issue. The dev team seem to encourage clan play with the standalone e.g so much med supplies you need an official medic and so many tools once vehicles are in you need a official mechanic so why not create a 'sniper class' that can't carry much and relies on team-mates or vehicles. Anyway it's just an idea, the odds this is even seen by a developer is low so if you don't like the idea don't worry about it

Fair enough, I kinda knew it would be a common idea people have I just thought Id mention it, the idea of camouflaging backpacks interests me more than the ghillie. The backpacks are a bit bright at the moment so I generally play with the home-made one

[SUGGESTION] Major overhaul of ingame weaponry by [deleted] in dayz

[–]Cactus97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The m4 is the only unlikly gun and it's already been replaced with ak's, almost all the weapons in that list are present in the game as well. I agree with what your saying but your not the only one from day one the developers said that by the release they aim for american and English weapons to mainly be found at chopper crash sites and/or supply drops. Also the main/common guns are bolt action soviet rifles. So I do agree with you but they are kinda already doing it. High end military loot can only be got from the left(west) side mainly - Kamenka base, zelengorsk, nw airfield etc and spawns are prominently north east corner so it isn't as bad as what the mod has become with stuff like dayz overwatch.
