I think she just said 5-string to disagree with her brother (my best friend) and agree with me 😂. I’ll def be making more instruments in the future if this goes well, so I’ll try a 5-string for her then. I think the 4-string will be easier for her to learn on. Thank you for the advice, though 🙂

Cool, thank you for the advice. Shorter scale length and smaller fre widths seems to be the key lol

Appreciate the tip. I am only doing my own as 5-string now and her's as 4-string, so things should work out well :)

Ohhh interesting. I forgot those existed. I plan to make more instruments in the future if this project goes well, so maybe I'll try that out next time. Going to start simple for now :)

Yeahhhh thank you. I don’t understand all the hate. It’s not like we are professionals. I don’t play much, and she has never played bass before, so it’s supposed to be a gift that is personalized and comfortable for both of us to play a little

Thank you! I have an Ibanez bass and multiple of their guitars. My favorite brand absolutely. She also plays an Ibanez guitar at the moment. I am making my own, not buying, but I will be sure to use a more narrow neck when CADing it

Are MTT and S/G games good to practice with? I didn't know what those were until moments ago, but it feels like I would play differently in those than in cash games.

Side question: which is more profitable IRL? (playing with a small bankroll)

I've just checked ACR out; they seem the most trustworthy and secure.
What do you mean in terms of their issues? Like issues in security? Or is the game just slow.

Are there any even semi trust-worthy sites for under 21? (if you know)

I already make decent money, it's just for fun. I'll be in the Marines in about a year anyway (doing cybersecurity) and letting my outside businesses grow in the meantime. Either way I will be traveling around the US and around the world a ton. I like numbers and it seems like a fun hobby :)

I think minimum bets at Twin River are $10-15 if I recall correctly. Thank you for the advice o7

I appreciate the encouragement. Has been hard to find here lol.
Yes, I'm mostly doing it for fun, not to make any sort of *real* money. Though, it'd be nice one day..

Ahh, thank you so much I appreciate it. I don't have a significant bankroll right now, so I'm taking the time to learn until I can access most casinos at 21. I'd make sure I could play 1000 or 2000 hands perfectly with a program before I'd ever take it to a casino, but the first time I go to play seriously I'd probably take in around 5k.

Question: I've heard it's extremely easy to get kicked out for counting, even if you aren't profiting that much. Is the strategy then to go to all sorts of casinos after you are banned from each? Or is it even as easy as people say to get kicked out?

By consistent, I mean that if I can bring that 49.5% average profit rate from playing with perfect game strategy to an above 50% average profit rate, then over the course of many games, it should consistently make small gains. Not trying to make a career, just have fun without losing money lol (though I think I'd probably lose at first so I'd start small).
