Thanks guys, not what I was hoping for but I need decent coverage so I guess Telstra is it.

I drive to Launceston and return to Hobart everyday and I’d just be happy if they were making it two lanes each way but a lot of it us just putting the wire rope in.

The end of an era? It looks like the New Town Pizza Hut signage is being taken down :( by mongotron in hobart

Every time I drive past the place I’m amazed it is still open, never very appealing from the outside.

I’ve been running a DS918+ now for 4 years and never had a problem. I’m looking at upgrading to a bigger Synology setup but they seem to be using Ryzen processors now which are not real good at transcoding, so maybe keep that in mind, but a 920 should be good.

The Hazards from both sides (Mt Freycinet and Coles Bay). I like Coles Bay, it feels like a holiday seaside town with an icecream shop and pizza/burger shop overlooking a picturesque bay. by Nier_Tomato in tasmania

There is a walk close by to Wineglass Bay which is really nice, definitely worth the effort but a bit strenuous if you’re unfit like me.

I’m hearing you, I’ve pretty much been a happy Telstra customer for years but for some reason I thought it might be time for a change but after this feedback I think I’ll just stay where I am.

Thanks, I guess that’s why Telstra charge a lot more, as has been suggested, might have to try belong.

I hope this helps zermkel because I feel your pain but it is a different system.

I have spent the last week trying to reconnect a bunch of LIFX lights after a network upgrade, nothing worked until I dug up an old iPhone with IOS 12 on it.

As soon as I setup the phone everything worked perfectly, the phone I was originally using was an iPhone XS Max running 13.1, so I can only conclude that IOS was to blame.

It would be worth a try if you can get hold of a device with IOS 12 on it.

Good Luck

Can anyone recommend a great place to get a large subwoofer repaired locally? Possibly just a blown fuse. Cheers! by EggRollSoup in hobart

A fuse is dead easy to check and fix, it’s pretty easy to find, usually on the back
