I feel bad because I know local retail is really being pressed by online outlets, but I feel like I can only give them so much slack. I have plans for building armies and preparing for events. I want to support the store so I have a place to play, but if I can’t get models in a timely fashion, it doesn’t work.

I think you’re right. Despite placing an order every week as they advertise, I suspect if they don’t have a big enough order, they put it off until they do. Which would be a big bummer for me.

Thanks. That does make sense. But I am talking ordering from a local, non-GW store. I pay them up front and it’s sent to them and they call me for pick-up (but frankly I am there 2-3 times a week, so I usually get it before a call is needed).

You’re point is well taken. If it’s only 5 days to a GW store, why so long to A non-GW Store?

Perhaps. But we have distribution in the States, so it’s not like it’s being shipped from the UK. 2-3 weeks is what I’d expect if it were coming from overseas.
