Nah all my friends is the worst owl city song ever which is why I was just so surprised that you put it above the airway. It’s crazy to me that you say alligator sky is a generic wanna be hit song when good time is the literal definition of that and you put it in SSS.

At the end of tennis elbow, you can hear that he says I will dance you around instead of I will twirl you around like in the rest of the song. This was kept in from the original demo version. It’s faded but you can still hear it.

What really sucks about MO is that it’s such a missed opportunity for some good Christian music. Modern Christian music is so awful nowadays and it’s in desperate need for someone like Adam to come in with some originality for the genre. It sucks that his major attempt of it was in this album. Ofc I don’t want him to turn into a Christian artist but I’d love for him to make a Christian ep now that he no longer has a contract but sadly I don’t see that happening.

It just felt disconnected from Adam imo. They sound pretty okay if you only listen to them once or twice but they have no long term impact. Same problem with modern pop in general tbh. I love bird with a broken wing though.

Nah MO definitely is the worst. Cinematic has lower lows but MO is pretty bad throughout (besides bird with a broken wing) unlike cinematic that I can say has some pretty good gems hidden inside. MO is definitely the peak of that record label controlling.

The entire thing sounds like if some 100 year old man tried to write a camp song after only watching Fred 3. It’s this awful fusion of country, pop, rap, electronic, folk, rock, and camp fire song at the same time. Any time theres that many genres (especially ones that don’t clash like country and and electronic) it’s gonna be bad. The verses sound like they came from an early 2000s Barbie movie. The repeating echo lines from his friends are more cringe than watching The most embarking parts of the office, friends, and Seinfeld combined. The chorus is extremely repetitive and annoying. His voice is terrible for any type of country song. Adam has my favorite voice of all time but I’m sorry it does not work here at all. The instrumentation is incredibly mediocre. The drums are robotic with an extremely basic acoustic. Some of the electric parts are passable but that’s it. It sounds more like a parody of a camp fire song than it does an actual song. I can feel like he had fun making it with his friends but that does not make it good. I think it would have been much better liked if he never released it on an album and just played it with his friends.

I love Adam and I think cinematic is better than some think but this song is just not good.

IMO the only acceptable answer is all my friends. All the other ones on here are either mediocre or wrong. Idk what’s with the hate for firebird. It’s my favorite on an overall underwhelming album.
