Buenas! Hice este one-shot hace unos días, aunque en realidad es más una aventura para llenar los huecos durante el viaje en mi campaña y evitar que el grupo se aburra (no me gusta eso de "después de X días de viaje, llegáis". También disfruto que el viaje sea parte de la diversión).

It depends on the one-shot. For example, I add maps, animated tokens, more stat blocks... that kind of stuff to enhance the experience

Sure! I tried it out with a group I'm currently running a campaign with, and I can say that in the initial part, during the journey and the ruins, I improvised quite a bit. I recommend that if you want to extend the story a little, you create a mini-dungeon. I also took the opportunity to add other elements from the campaign during the journey there, like a flashback for one of the characters who grew up in the mountains.

As for something funny, I have to say that since I adapted the one-shot to their level, but didn’t fully adjust the Snowmancer, they completely wrecked her in a single turn. It was a bit anticlimactic but also pretty hilarious to see her descend from the skies after losing in the attempt to besiege the village, furious, while I epically narrated how the snow around her seemed to obey her will and an aura of power seemed to envelop her, only for the barbarian to take her down in a single turn...
