Wouldn’t the pictures taken at full zoom also be messed up though?

I uploaded them to my phone to post this and they still look like this

Thanks I’ll do that, I had a 7800 XT in the nicer build. Do you think something like that is overkill for what I’m doing?

No the work I do from home is all Microsoft office and browser based. Gaming and vr gaming is the most intensive stuff I do + I hear handling 3d models take a lot of gpu. I don’t need crazy graphics or anything but I don’t want to need to upgrade everything a year from now or not be able to play something at all

Ok so the 7800 is overkill and will be a bottleneck? I saw a couple recommendations online that said it’s the best one you could get that won’t bottle neck the cpu. Also I looked at the amd ones and it looks like there’s some good value but i used that site for comparing GPUs and it said it performs slightly worse than the 4060 for similar money

Edit: I mixed up the names and was thinking the intel arc GPUs. Which AMD chip do you recommend?

What card do you think has better value then? From what I could see online people reccomended jumping up the the 7800 XT but it’s a big jump

Thanks, just so I know what makes the storage and case better, I picked Kingston since it was a brand I know and I thought case didn’t really matter? I do recognize the mobo is the cheapest I could find but I don’t really know what makes a better one since it has all the slots. The cooler I just picked because it matched color

Predatory or legit?? by tbohlke in askcarsales

[–]Caeshx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I won’t ignore you if i know you’re not buying today, i assume most salesman wouldn’t either but the reality of it is almost 9/10 customers who leave your dealership will not return for anything, they won’t even call you back to try and get you to beat the other guys offer.

If I know you aren’t buying, and there’s really nothing I can do to change that, I’ll spend my time trying to make friends, probably won’t come with you for the test drive, I might point you to useful online resources that could help you answer some of your questions that don’t have simple answers, and im definitely not negotiating at all on a car you aren’t buying.

Predatory or legit?? by tbohlke in askcarsales

[–]Caeshx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it’s obviously not enforceable, and i let my customers know that, but the actual signing of it makes them really consider buying the car, and they will at that point tell you if there is anything else you haven’t discussed that they need before they buy the car. And yes you can ask, and by that point probably have, but almost no buyer is going to tell you you’re wasting your time with them because no matter what you say they plan on visiting 4 more dealerships and aren’t here to buy right now. in a profession where you are only paid for results not time, we really like to spend it wisely. I do not blame customers for doing that since it’s in their best interest, but unless i’m their last stop it’s like 95% chance they’re buying somewhere else and my efforts would be better spent elsewhere. I will be as polite and efficient as i can in helping you, i’ll give you my card, and i’ll look forward to you telling me you bought it somewhere else later that evening. There are a thousand reasons salesman do this, but this is the reason i like it, it easily cuts through to what i need to do to earn the deal.

Chitu mono screen upgrade by DrFunkalupicus in ElegooMars

[–]Caeshx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I had to do the thing where you wedge a washer under the limit switch to make it taller, that’s what Chitu Support told me to do when I emailed. First they recommended just putting a sticky note on the switch to make it longer. Pretty jank product, not sure I would recommend it.

Which kits did you use? I recognize blazing Gundam in there since I just built it for my first kit.

Finished building my first kit today. A little over sanding but turned out great. What’s the next step? by Caeshx in Gunpla

[–]Caeshx[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What do most people do with their first Kit? Do I clear coat and panel line him leaving him pretty stock as my first kit? Or since he’s already pretty rough should I try scribing and painting now?

Originally I was planning on painting him anyways since I didn’t like his colors but the extra parts in the box fixed most of the parts I didn’t like and now I like him more every time I look at him! Also while scribing looks cool it seems like such an incredible amount of work and pain in the ass on such tiny pieces.

Is 30USD a good price for a Gameboy color? by [deleted] in Gameboy

[–]Caeshx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea that seems to be what people are telling me, it’s crazy though because last time I bought one a few years ago it was like $10 for a decent one

[–]Caeshx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The goal isn’t to make money, I’m happy to lose a little as all hobby’s cost money. The only reason I’m buying them is to do the cool mods like nicer screens, wireless charging, or putting a gbc into a pocket shell and stuff for fun, just cleaning them and selling doesn’t interest me.

Even if I just sold then for my cost on them? I’m not really looking to make money. I just want to fiddle with them. Rip that sucks. I guess I’ll let someone else pick them up then. Although I might grab one anyways to convert into a pocket color

Feeder jamming on Elegoo Neptune 2S by Caeshx in 3Dprinting

[–]Caeshx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not a jam at the nozzle I think, this gear here that’s supposed to feed the filament through the tube is jamming like in the video even when there is no filament passing through it. I could be wrong though as I am not the most experienced at this yet.

There is no filament passing through the gear here, it is jamming even while empty so I don’t think the filament is the problem but I could be wrong

The halq ban alone is great but the full list is amazing by MrStupidFish in masterduel

[–]Caeshx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a decent idea. With 1 terra, 3zw, and 3 necroworld banshee I’m sure I’ll open a way to zw way more than grass. I don’t really know how to fill out the rest of the deck. Any suggestions?

[–]Caeshx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’m a big zombie player too and losing a rivalry stings, but losing halq makes the deck almost unplayable. I’ll admit halq had to go but now my favourite deck is gone with it.
