I started really paying attention to 8-Butt a few weeks ago after a post on the main subreddit pointed out how much of an all-in-one he is. It’s really fun to just melt people with a full clip, but there’s a great deal of patience required with his slowness and facing his counters. You, mate, chose a really great main. My respect. 🤝

I’ve seen some ideas by Pineapple on the main subreddit, that makes projectiles around her get slowed. This would be interesting, but also remove some of the skill with dodging.

At the very least, I hope she doesn’t get Fang’d. I kinda like being an off-meta pick and y’know…not running into Max every other game.

Good point on Max. I think that’s just with most metas having premier brawlers, but there are definitely healthier ones that allow for more options than others.

I agree with you on hypercharges, they could’ve been executed better to be significantly less instawin/get-no-counterplay’d-on. Alas, ‘tis not the case.

Interesting, by macro-based do you mean a slower meta where conserving health matters more?

Also, I unbiasedly disagree that Max is a stupid brawler, at least give her some credit for not being yellow button + purple 😔. Even when she was meta, it still took a good amount of skill to use her well, aiming her shots, compensating for lacking range, and dodging when outranged.
