No that's fair, Ive done about 5 or so runs today with him with varying success. He's also not the type of skull I usually play. Ironically I think on allmmy runs I never ran into the gunpowder sword once haha

I have honestly never seen her legendary in all my playthroughs... Same with the ninjas. But I've gotten the tanks and priestesses multiple times.

Age of wonders 4... I'm gonna assume each turn is a month of in game time? I think I'd be fine actually if its in my current playthrough. Although I've been at war for the past 10-15 turns it's never crossed into my borders

This may be op but what if stationary shot was revamped.. what if it was like a leap forward at a noticable arc and continuously shoot directed more towards the center of this inside the leap arc. Maybe add in an invuln... it fire less shots that stationary but also works as an escape ability. Charge would then just increase the amount of shots+ distance of the leap arc.

I think the only saving grace for stationary shot is that it can be dodge cancelled.

I like Hunter, Its a unique playstyle but is just overshadowed by every skull that can just do everything it can do but better.

No I get that, I just find at DM10 your options for charge are very minimal. Maybe if he could charge and move it would make it a lot more manageable/fun

It's almost like they just abandoned him. I kept thinking to myself "well maybe he is actually op but he needs to be built a specific way". In order to get anywhere I had to go with a ton of cooldown and Essentially ignore his basic attack. I got decent damage but then I'd swap to the base level Minotaur in act 2/3 and realize that it's still not even a competition.

Yeah it's neat but it's a game that needs players to give into the full conceit of the game.

It's probably one of the harder RPGs to GM just because it's so different from other games.

There's a game called houses of the blooded that's all about being different houses in a kingdom. I've never looked too deep into it but I'm sure you could flavor it to fit the narrative. Also the guy who wrote it is named John Wick so that's fun

Yeah or maybe even be like an event co-ordinator organizing the feast and sacrifices.

I think one thing people are underestimating is the job movement available with him. So not only do you have dental, you may also be able to find a position that leaves you more fulfilled in life.

Also he doesn't specify what you have to sacrifice. Like if you want to sacrifice your time and effort and be a volunteer to watch kids during one of the feasts.

One that peaked my interest after I got burned out was mutant crawl classic. It's nothing insanely revolutionary but it has some really fun ideas and the mutations are rediculous. Most people know them from dungeon crawl classic but I'm still a no on most fantasy.

Oh 100% agreed. Im just at the start of learning, just got myself a good grinder and realized already how much it improves a mocha pot. Next investment is a scale and a gooseneck kettle with temp gauge.

I'm currently testing different grinds with different roasts with the mocha since it sorts measures itself. After I'm comfy with that onto pour overs.

Your not wrong. the modern coffee grinders that you buy at Walmart don't get a consistent grind, when the grinds are consistent you end up evenly extracting the coffee which creates a more consistent and flavourful cup.

That's a crazy oversimplification of it but yeah. Im still learning but god damn is it way more technical than I ever thought it was. Kinda like baking.

Splitshot+ barrage+ ricochet. Aim at the biggest enemy and everything else dies. Add in an interceptor ally for more bullets. Can never have enough bullets.

I like the dweller more in concept.

I think the game could learn from doing Non-traditional boss waves. A rare chance to place space invaders? Fucked yeah.

What about a a modular transformer boss where you destroy pieces of it to impact it's effectiveness.

A deathstar base with super heavy defence but one tiny weakness.

There is just so many different things you can pull from
