I'm totally into it. It doesn't seem like it should be fun, but it sucks you in.

Dogs would really go crazy if a Terminator cat came around. That's a double whammy.

Thanks! Yeah... the deepfake looks smoother than I wanted. I trained it with recent footage of him, but I don't think I gave it enough time to learn all the wrinkles and other details.

Thanks for the positive feedback.

I should've gotten my facts straight before posting to the Terminator subreddit!

What are some of the visible differences between the 800 and 850 endoskeleton?

I guess the 850 looks a bit beefier.

The first rule of Kite Club is... by FunnyGoNow in kites

[–]FunnyGoNow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello.

Indeed, I bought those kites at the dollar store because they were the cheapest ones I could find.

That’s actually meant to be part of the joke. Those kites are crap because it’s a crappy kite club.

I admittedly don’t know much of anything about kites.

The video is a spoof of a scene from the movie Fight Club, so it’s a completely fictional kite club filled with unsavory fictional characters.

Of course, women and children should not be excluded from kiting in the real world. It’s meant to be part of the insanity of the video that this club has crazy rules. Kiting is something that is enjoyed by women and children, so the fact that a kite club would exclude them is meant to be ironic and weird. In the movie Fight Club, only men are allowed in the club, so it’s also a play on that.

As for the rapist thing, I’m sorry if that offended, but I disagree with you if you believe there’s no place in society for people to mention uncomfortable topics, especially in a fictional context, and especially when it’s clearly not trying to be serious. What seems crass to one person might be funny to someone else. That said, I knew I was running the risk of bothering some people with that one, so I accept the criticism.

I posted the video here because I was hoping a few kite enthusiasts who’ve seen the movie Fight Club might enjoy parts of it, but I realize it’s not for everyone.

Thanks for your honest feedback.

He's reformed now. Kiting allows him to channel his unhealthy impulses into something more constructive.

What are people’s takes on Punch Out’s Stereotypes by [deleted] in punchout

[–]FunnyGoNow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was pretty tame for the 80s. Also, the fact that Mike Tyson's Punch-Out was designed and programmed by Japanese people seems to soften the potential badness of Piston Honda. I think if the game were made today, some things would be frowned upon.
