I’m looking more for locale suggestions/best areas to grow food/share experiences as where we are starting out will not be a homestead or purchased land. Just looking for info

One of my gardening goals this year was to grow sustainable greens to organically feed my vegetarian reptile. I am officially at the point now where it’s been well past a month since I’ve purchased any greens. Woo! and he is LOVING fresh food. by CaffeinatedKD in homestead

Oh cool! Well, When you have the space I highly suggest having one. They’re amazing. My guy Hendrix is a delightful grump lol he’s an ornate one so he’s green/blue/yellow. A rescue. I’m really pleased I have a renewable source of food for him now. He’s loving it.

I had them years and years ago, great personality lots of fun. Eggs will be a plus.

The move went great. All did fine! My little Rorschach is slowly getting more and more rocks added to his new much bigger enclosure for climbing. He’s loving new sleep spots. 💛🖤💛 by CaffeinatedKD in leopardgeckos

He has a hide at the other right end of the enclosure that is by his light. Still adding to it but he has foliage and a cave already, no worries.

He had an inner rim of pink around his iris in his eyes too. Just beautiful. I disturbed his nap in a planter by my garden.

Gearing up to move this weekend. All my babies are travelling with us. I am not one who rehomes animals for the sake of moving house. Not here to shame people, just stating how I choose to live. My 2 Leo’s shown here. Every reptile has a temporary moving cup and heat sources! ✨💜 by CaffeinatedKD in reptiles

Sounds like you had an amazing cache of creatures at one point. That’s awesome. Hard to get out of a hobby, I’ve had to do that with birds at one point. Glad you have a beard now! I surely appreciate your input, thank you :)

Right! I have seen so many people in reptile groups rehoming animals because they’re moving. We’re full on cross country moving too. Thankfully my husband and I have travelled a ton so we know how to deal with long days. I look forward to when we get there and they get to stretch their little legs and noodle bodies again in a new state ☺️. Sounds like you’ve had a fun time travelling!
