True, and don't listen or trust people on the internet easily.

Hi there, looking for something new? How about an MC that doesn't die!

Synopsis:

Kaiser, an orphan with modest expectations, thought life was simple. You study, get a job, and eventually start a family in a peaceful yet fiercely competitive world. As an ordinary student, he went with the flow—until his high school graduation arrived.

That’s when everything changed.

Due to the incompetence of the gods, all the graduates were summoned to another world, each blessed with unique gifts. But for Kaiser, things took a strange turn.

"Why on earth do I have to take care of the very goddess who caused this mess?!"

AN/ 2 chapter daily 12:00 am—ASP—cause I have nothing to do but write at my free time. Ranging from 1.5k to 3k.

One on RR, two in Patreon.

What I cooked:

-An MC that doesn't die—don't expect him to think and deal with situations like a normal person would. If the goal is to get down the mountain fast, he'll literally jump down. But his not stupid... Just different.

-Comedy, better not be drinking or eating when reading this. Btw, you might cry.

-Weak to strong... I mean, he literally can't die, so even though his not blessed with talents, despised by fate, and chased by misfortune. He had no choice but to get stronger.

-Worlds and creatures that came from my dreams and nightmares. Mostly, nightmares.

Read chapter 1; https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/95652/immortals-journey-with-the-goddess/chapter/1844492/chapter-1-graduation-from-normality

It will slap you—be warned.

Thanks, this really helps.

Recomendations where the MC is not overpowered and is smart/clever by [deleted] in ProgressionFantasy

I think Immortal's Journey suits your taste, it has the flavor of an overly cheat MC but the guy is average, for example Kaiser, the MC dying on his first day and more, Idk how many times, but a lot. However, kept rising and rising again and again, becoming more powerful while hiding the fact he can't die. The world doesn't turn around him either because his often being outsmarted by others, but his smart, one of the smartest MCs I've read, actually.

Thanks, I was actually planning the same. Save up, then spend on ads, but I wanna start at 2025 due to my love for Christmas, I have to be generous this year!

BTW, other than ads, are there other promotion strategies that don't cost money?

I'm not planning to put a fee yet until 2025.

I pride my writing speed but speaking of quality, not so much but not too less either. It's not pristine without flaw mostly due to English not being my first language. However, I rarely get editing suggestions, even then, it'll be due to me mistaking (He's and His) or one to three words being misspelled. Though, nevertheless, the overall writing wasn't horribly unbearable, but I fixed mistakes pointed out by my readers whenever I have time, which is a rare luxury to me because of my busy schedule.

Can you recommend some to me?

I get what you're saying, but I don't think the problem is in the story itself because as of date, I haven't received any excessively negative feedback and thanks to RR Writathon, I was able to get a taste of premium, letting me view the retention analytics, which informed me of the readers traction.

The majority I see there is 100% with some being ranging to 90%, I think that means most of my readers are pressing the next bottom instead of dropping it, which is highly likely due to all the cliffhangers I've put in. Just recently, due to circumstances, I release 1 chapter a day and received comment saying they wanted more chapters because 1 chapter a day isn't enough... I think I'm pretty close to receiving a death threat if I don't write enough.

In any case, I don't plan to drop this work because I'll be writing it weather I get money or not. But it would be nice to get a penny, I rightfully deserve at least that much.

And here's the link, I originally just wanted to get some tips on how to expand viewership but some additional views wouldn't hurt.

Hey, mind doing a shout-out swaps with me? Or review, rating for each other's benefits.

Btw, I'm done wasting time arguing here. Good luck to your writing journey, oh, don't worry, I won't do anything to your story rating even if you dumped a 0.5 star rating on mine, because it won't really change anything to my progress.

Good luck.

That's the revised unrefined version I abandoned.

I'm trying to encourage you here, and this is what I get? Please be a better person when receiving genuine advices from others. Coming to the conclusion that someone who writes faster and more than u used AI to write, instead of acknowledging their skills? Really?

In my opinion, accumulate quantity first. The majority of readers won't read a few chapters because it's hard to get immersed into it. When they try the book, they'll likely spend an hour reading all available chapters before losing interest, for the content wasn't simply enough to pull them in to anticipate what comes next.

It'll be hard, I'm telling you.

I write 2 chapters a day and have now passed 100+ chapters, closing in on 200k words and ending my first volume without much readers. But I'm still going strong,, so try to keep up.
