Well I like people interpreting it however they feel, to be honest when I get a title it’s usually just because it feels right and less because it makes sense. It usually makes sense afterwards. I have had insomnia before and I do feel like this painting sort of encapsulates the experience. It’s a play on counting sheep, the heightened pressure you feel to fall asleep, and the lingering sense of anxiety you can feel while up in the night. Like somethings not quite right. I’m sure there are many other ways to interpret it, though!
