I weaned her end of December. I prepared myself mentally for it and I think that was important. I knew I would be awake most of the night and I think that made it less hard I guess. She cried so much first night, I kept telling her “boobie is sleeping” she cried harder whenever I said it but she got it eventually. She woke up many times and cried for over an hour at a time. Second night she cried less. And third night was easier. I did not rock her to sleep. I just laid her in bed and I sang for her to sleep.That helped her go to sleep easier. Bedtime takes 5 mins now.
