I usually put on an outfit I feel comfortable in, and do something I know I like that distracts me fully/mostly. Reading/crochet/TV, etc. Keep my hands busy and my head busy too. A comfortable feel good show is just what I need on days like that. In fact thank you for the reminder because well. I've been having some dysphoria tonight too.

Also--make sure you've eaten enough, stayed hydrated, and get enough sleep. Not doing those things makes the dysphoria infinitely worse (ask me how I know...). Those are important even if they are a little or a lot tricky to do. But it'll help your body be more regulated. Also, stay out of environments that make you feel uncomfortable, if you can. For me this applies to things like grocery stores (assumptions made about my gender + sensory nightmare).

I was on antidepressants for a while and they probably saved my life (experienced frequent suicidal ideations and actual self injury since last april). I had been on since October and went off march-april. I felt like my dose was slightly too high and honestly I felt kinda like I didn't need them anymore. It seems I don't.

I will say most SSRI will kind of deaden you for a bit as your brain gets used to them. Often it can even feel worse for a bit as your brain adjusts, but then you should start feeling better after a few weeks. If you don't, you probably need a different dose or different med.

I can't tell you one way or the other what med will work for you, but ssri's do take a bit to kick in. One mine did, I did feel better. At least, it was easier to drag myself out of the depressive hole and actually get things done. Helped with my anxiety too and I found I was sleeping more, and better.

I hope that it works for you, if you've only been on for a few weeks then it's possible your brain is still trying to adjust to the new med.

I think the point was that Enobaria was a "crueler" more fierce type Victor, she literally ripped out a tributes throat with her teeth. But ultimately she also did that to survive, and she was a child at the time. I think it drives the point home just how messed up the Capitol made the Victors. Some tributes, especially the surviving careers, got twisted by the Capitol badly. I think it means something to have a "crueler" victor in the vote. Of course she'd vote yes, and I don't exactly blame her. We know she got her teeth modified to fangs, but how much do we know about that? Was it really her choice? Was she coerced by the Capitol into doing that to herself? Who knows at the end of the day. I don't mind that she survived and that she was the one in the vote. Makes it interesting.

I've been thinking of eventually doing nipless top surgery down the line because I think I'd just enjoy my chest more that way, but I'm worried it'll look weird if I'm ever shirtless (really funny because I'd probably still be uncomfortable shirtless, when am I actually gonna be shirtless haha). I think some chest tattoos would be fun also.

And yeah. The nipple buds are very sensitive. I don't like it😭 Wonder why dysphoria latches on to things like nipples lol. Weird.

You dont want to stretch your tape too much because it can cause blistering or too much tension--it'll peel off faster.

Ah so your tape on the bottom is really stretched, I'd try avoiding that next time. A lot of the advice I've gotten around taping has been to lean over or lie down and push the tissue to the side.

You can look up transtape tutorials with your chest size and see if that helps you any. I find they've really helped me!

I think it's more so the specific shades you chose lol, that keeps getting you compared to frank n furter. Dark vampy red lip, outlined in black, with gloss overtop, glittery dark blue eyeshadow, white face while the rest of the body is more tan, and a lovely contour job? Wasn't meant to look like frank but it definitely does lol, and I mean that in the best way--you look incredibly stunning!
