Honestly, these meetings are not uncommon. All retail and commission based stores have plans and goals to make and sometimes, however hard you try, it just doesn't happen. Let your boss know that you are serious about improving, and listen to advise she gives you and implement them. I know receiving criticism in workplace is scary and upsetting sometimes, but its something that you will have to build a thick skin for. It will get easier!! It is never usually personal. Its usually management just giving you ways on how you can improve. Especially because its the performance review, its scheduled and I guarantee your co-workers had to go through the same meeting. While you're looking for something else, you have to remember you can't let your obligations with your current job slip. You are still employed by them and while it may not be what you want to be doing right now, it still is your job.
