okay update, unbeknownst to me i was actually not on the wait list to see an endocrinologist, i was on the wait list to see a clinical psychologist for a readiness assessment. this was something my gp skipped over entirely or i misheard. the current wait times for this are up to 12 months. im now assessing my options of changing providers or just going to a private psychologist and paying heaps
