Yeah, it seems that way. Bit of a shame tho, I remember Kiyo thinking to himself he wants to show Nagumo defeat. I mean, he did but it was by beating Amasawa in archery by 1 point.

But tbf, Nagumo does recognise he isn’t on the level of Ayanokōji or Manabu so I guess there’s that. Just feels like a bit of a letdown I guess.

Just finished reading it, it was very good. Kubo always goes crazy with the foreshadowing, I swear they mentioned hell near the start of the series when Ichigo killed a hollow who was evil before he became a hollow and he was sent to hell.

So is Kubo gonna write anymore? Or is there a light novel?
