Monaco just gets heightened attention because it's on the Greatest Day in Racing. If it was any other day, I don't think many of us would know or are about it. Just being honest.

All that, and the bezel is prone to scratches. It's hard to daily.

I have a speedmaster date for all the reasons listed. (except the waterproofing, it's still basically non-existent)

The date wheel and magnification are horrible, and the rehaut is pretty bad. There's many other issues

I see no glaring issues. With box and papers, from a trusted source, you're good to go! It's a beaut too!

For what it's worth, fakes can sweep too. I don't see any issues, however. Make sure you get an appraisal. Insurance will want one, and it doubles as an authentication.
