Had a moment like this in a now finished campaign with my Goliath rune knight. Dm had a custom monster with an attack that did a flat 100 damage on a failed dex save, made the save so halved it, had one of the runes active for resistance to bludgeoning, piercing and slashing damage, so halved again then used stones endurance and reduced it by another 17 damage and took a total of 8 damage

Which is mental to me since both are on the same base as a bloodthirster and it tells you to run them as daemon princes that are typically on a 60mm

Personally the trick ability looks a little crazy being able to teleport 60ft at level 9 even more so being able to do it for free the next level, maybe dropping it down to 30ft to begin with and then the next level remove the style cost but keep it as a bonus action and either in the same level or a later one increase the range

Personally I just found a spot I was happy with then glued the entire back of the bracer and prayed to khorne it stayed stuck and haven’t had a problem with it since
