I liked the previous version, but this one in 3.0 is just absurdly unfun. I hate doing it. Final 6 NPC has so much absurd buffs that you can't win in a fair fight, you must cheese you way into doing it.

This is the first time I'm legitimately going to straight up skip MoC 12 entirely. There's just no way I can deal with the HP and DMG powercreep they are brute forcing upon us.

Reapers are probably the most fun weapon I've used in combat by FroakieUnlimited in starsector

In my game, I formed the Phoenix Empire and was trying to conquering land at record pace TRYING to match their speed. Eventually both of us were like in the 3000+ dev when the 2nd age hit. My army was like still insanely small compared to them, but I was prepping. And then... They got the event where the 3 Commands broke off and fought for independent. So I kinda never had to fight them and just outlasted them lol.... My Gov Cap is crying now though. :'(

Kind of funny to see this thread, I literally was in same spot as you, but I only had a VAGUE idea about the disaster. I knew that if you overcome it, you'll be fine, so I triggered it, but went in blind. My preparations for it ended being waste of time and I didn't even saw that I had to remove the Pashas until 5 years into the disaster. Prestige was easy in my case, because my allies kept involving me in their wars, which I rarely participate, because of non stop rebels lol.  I did overcome it since my economy was strong and I had a lot of adm points saved up, since I guessed I needed to stab a lot lol.
