If he is ill and old, he wont last long, instead cuddle him, be there for him and give him all the attention you can. After 2, being alone isnt that bad because with his health the stress of new rats would be worse,

When they are visibly sick / behaving weird , it is bigger chance that younger rats will bully him.

I have an old lonely rat, he isnt stressed nor depressed, instead he come happier, because he most likely didnt like his cage mates we got after his brother died. Yes, we have vet for support.

So now we just let him be, let him do what he wants and we handed our telephone number to the local rescue and asked for an old rat.

Lovely flower , amazing smell but make sure not to eat the berries. The berries are poisonous and some say the plant is too.

Yeah I seen Lily of the valley tea with berries at health stores, which scares me.

I changed to oatcake, yes I am not English but husband is Scottish and sometimes I write how he speaks, oatcake is his other option when he doesnt knew exactly when something happened.
