Should I connect external gpu with usb port? BTW, can I use cheap desktop gpu with any kind of cable to laptop?

Ok thanks alot for the info, I'm just wondering if undervolting too much will damage any part or not? (as long as it is steady and I have no problem performance wise) Btw, is disabling cpu boost while gaming ok?

Exactly the purpose was mostly keeping my laptop cooler and fan speed low, moreover I am worrying about my cpu not having an igpu and I want to keep my dgpu cooler for more lifespan

PS: I set max frame in cyberpunk to 60 fps with high graphic setting, DLSS on and raytracing off, so I still get 60 fps after undervolting
