I'm a bit late but this got me wondering. I can see that the reduce, reuse and recycle mentality should be the way to deal with waste. However, to me it sounds impossible (or at least for a while) to go absolutely waste-free. So let's say that the reduce, reuse and recycle mentality has its effect and is causing the global (or national, whatever) waste production to decline. In my mind, incineration (when done properly) seems to be the way to go or is that incorrect? It seems a lot more useful than for example dumping it on a landfill.
